
5-Day trek through the Tuxer Alpen
Come with us on this adventure through the Tuxer Alpen, situated in the southeast of Innsbruck. From the 26th of July until the 30th of July, we will be hiking through this amazing region. With it magnificent peaks, it stretches out from Wipptal to Zillertal. A must see in Tirol. This tour is perfect for people who already have some experience with hiking in the mountains and want something a little more challenging, but not too extreme.
Tuxer Alps
The Tuxer Alpen are part of the central Austrian Alps. They are named after the village of Tux, situated in the Zillertal. We will be passing by many of its famous peaks, such as the Rastkogel and Kellerjoch. And seeing the Olperer is always stunning.
Difficulty level: Intermediate
This hike is perfect for people who have already some experience with hiking in the mountains and want to go to the next level. With elevation gains up to a 1000m a day and distances ranging from 12 to 15 km, we will surely have earned our Kaiserschmarrn in the hut.

Huts
There is nothing better than enjoying the warmth and cosiness of a mountain hut after a long day of hiking through the alps. It means you get dinner and breakfast and can even get lunch for the next day. The Alpenverein huts are just an amazing part of the experience.
What is included?
A 5-day guided tour with a certified and experienced hiking guide. You get to learn about reading maps and terrain, how to navigate and how to plan your own tour.
Workshops & Photographs
In the evening, we will have a small gathering for some workshops about the different aspects of hiking. We will also have photos taken during the trip, which you will get afterwards in high quality.
